Description

Heraldry is also called coat of arms and was a symbol for lord and counts the early middle ages to the Barock age, but you can also see old coat of arms in old family history.

And why I did this is becayse I was curious how it would look like. I'm very into heraldry so I used all books and knowledge I hade to create these coat of arms. Also I took what I thought would fit for each character and the theories from other LoK fans who has a serious view on personalities.

Describtion:

(Turel)
Three moons: These symbols the three major steps in the moon's cycle. And the moon symbols for mystic and magic and the moon symbols also as ruler of the night; aka the Sun of the Night.

(Dumah)
Tower with a long axe: THe tower symbols for immovable and safethy. A tower take stand against any forces. The long axe symbols fighting spirit that can reach anything far from the one who carries it.

(Rahab)
Hippocampus: The Hippocampus is based on the heraldry horse which symbols determination, fast and manhood. As an old symbol of the greek god Posidon the hipocampus is a rider of storms.

(Zephon)
Sword with poisonous tip: A sword is symbol for strengh and with its poisonous tip it may symbol as fast death for the enemies. A silent and fast death which comes from nowhere.

(Raziel)
Two headed eagle: The eagle has the same meaning as a lion in heraldry; strengh and determination. And the eagle is king over birds so those who worn the eagle as a symbol had something to do with a royal connection. The two heads symbolise either a split personality or awareness, always looking two ways.

(Melchiah)
Greyhound: The dog symbols loyalty and the hunter which runs before its master. The Greyhound is one of the fastes dogs so its symbol is a bit diffrent from other heraldries of dogs; it symbols speed.

(Kain)
Tygern: The tygern is a fantasy cat animal that symbols speed and determination. It may be a incomplete descibtion of a tiger from the middle ages.
The red color symbols blood; which can be imaged as life itself.

(Kain)
Wolf: Is symboled for dark forces and hunger. In the old times the wolf was often wronged imaged as a murderer of sheep which symbols the Christianitys son of God; Jesus Christ. The wolf can also be symboled as a fast hunter which go after a goal until it reaches it.

(Kain)
Bat head with a crown: The bat symbols one of Kain's alternative shapes. And the crown on the bat's head symbols that he's the ruler; aka the emperor.

(Kain)
Other: Do you see the skull with the fangs under the bat? That's a piece of the Soul Reaver, a sword that devours blood.
Plus the ones who has the most details on their coat of arms belongs is to somebody who ruled/rules over others.

No questions? Good, because I'm reaaaaally tired now.

A thank you to ~Himitsu-Keeper who helped me decide the symbols and kicking my sorry ass so I would submit this. (Har har)
